- Reward offered in 3/4 million dollar coin theft: Beverly Hills
The Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG) and PNG member-dealer, Kevin Lipton, are jointly offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of rare coins and paper money stolen from Lipton's Beverly Hills, California offices.
The unknown thief or thieves took more than a quarter-million dollars worth of numismatic items during a break-in on Sunday, October 19, 2008.
- Paraglider stolen in burglary: Oldham
Burglars turned over a house in Oldham, stealing several household items, including a paraglider.
The burglary took place some place between 1pm and 7pm on Wednesday 12 November 2008.
The offenders managed to get into the house by sneaking through to the back garden, and smashing open the back door.
The living room, kitchen and bedrooms were then ransacked.
- Reward for Colin the basking shark's lost tag: Milford Haven Estuary (£200.00 Reward)
An Isle of Man shark research project has offered a reward in an effort to get back a tracking tag that it is believed may wash up in the Milford Haven area.
The tag looks like a hand held microphone. It's got a grey shaft and a rounded red top with a slim antennae. The tags cost in the region of £3000.
- Skis and boots recovered: Wigan
Police are releasing pictures of a set of skis and boots recovered after a house was searched in Wigan.
Officers are appealing to trace the owner of the expensive equipment, which was found at the address on Avon Road, Pemberton, on Tuesday 18 November 2008.
A drugs warrant was carried out at the address but no drugs were found.
Anyone who recognises the boots and skis is asked to call Pemberton Police Station on 0161 856 7188.
- Camera stolen in burglary recovered: Rubery
Police are appealing for the owner of a camera found in Rubery to come forward.
The digital camera was handed in to Rubery Police Station on September 9th after being found in Hillview Road, and police believe it may have been dropped after a burglary - possibly one which happened over the border in the West Midlands.
The Olympus Camedia D-435 5.1 mega pixel digital camera is in a black Lowepro fabric camera case.
- 3 shotguns, air rifle, ammunition and FAC taken in burglary: Trafford
The burglary happened between 4pm and 5pm on Friday 7 November at a farm on Warburton Lane in Trafford.
Offenders forced their way into the address and stole three legally owned shotguns and a BSA Meteor air rifle.
The guns are a Aya Spanish .12 bore double barrelled shotgun, a Daintith .12 bore double barrelled shotgun and a single barrel .410 bore shotgun.
They also stole the owner's firearms certificate (FAC).
- Rare tiles stolen from farm outbuildings: Glan Conwy
Police are appealing for information after tiles were stolen from an address in Glan Conwy.
Sometime between 19:00hrs on Tuesday 4th and 11:30hrs on Wednesday 5th November, seven slate tiles were taken from an 8ft exterior wall of the farm outbuildings situated along the B5381.
The tiles are over 100 years-old and due to their size and weight, officers believe more than one offender may have been involved.
- Ride-on lawnmower stolen from outbuilding: Spaxton
Police are appealing for information after a ride-on lawnmower was stolen from an outbuilding in Spaxton, Bridgwater.
The John Deere X410 was taken from a barn in Spaxton, between 9pm on Monday the 27th October 2008, and 8am on Tuesday morning.
Suspects forced entry to the building and took the lawnmower but no other property was reported to have been taken.
Police are appealing for witnesses, who might have seen anything suspicious to contact them.

- Reward for recovery of historic coin collection: Scottish Borders
A £50,000 reward is being offered for information that could help police to bring the return of an historic collection of coins to their rightful owner.
This reward is believed to be the biggest unclaimed sum available for the return of stolen goods in Scotland today.
The coins were stolen from the home of Lord and Lady Stewartby in Broughton, near Peebles in the Scottish Borders, overnight between June 6 - 7 last year.
- OBE medal and case found: Carholme Road
Lincoln property office are keen to reunite an OBE medal with its owner after the unusual item was found on Carholme Road near the common. The medal was found on the 25th October and has so far not been claimed.
To reclaim the item, the owner should telephone 01522 882222 or visit Lincoln Police Station with some form of proof of ownership.
- Paddington Bear goes missing: Osborne Street, Lowestoft
A 2ft tall plastic/ fibreglass Paddington Bear figure was stolen from the garden of a home in Osborne Street between 11pm on Monday 10 and 9am yesterday, Tuesday 11 November.
The figure - a former charity collection box - was positioned high up and it's thought the offender may have used a ladder or been standing on something in order to reach it.

- Go-Karting Trophy recovered: Lowestoft
Have you lost a sporting trophy? The silver plastic cup, which appears to be for go-karting, was found in long grass at a play area at Bodiam Way on Thursday 30 October and was subsequently handed into police.

- Irreplaceable medals taken in burglary: Redditch
Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a house in the Matchborough area of Redditch.
Offenders broke into the house in Barford Close between 5.15pm and 10.30pm on Monday 3 November and stole around £2,000 worth of property including two laptop computers, a camera and a games console.
The occupant's army medals were also stolen in the burglary.

- Children's buggy found: Nelson Street, Tewkesbury
Tewkesbury Police are asking the owner of a buggy, which has been recovered, to come forward.
The pushchair was found on Nelson Street, Tewkesbury on Monday November 10.
It is a Quinny Fashion three wheel stroller in brown and blue.
Police would also like to take this opportunity to remind the public to mark large items such as buggies with their postcode so that should they be lost or stolen they can be easily returned to their rightful owner.
- Motability scooter stolen: Frederick Press Way, Rugby
Police are appealing for witnesses who can help identify the thieves who stole a motability scooter belonging to an 89 year old woman from Frederick Press Way in Rugby.
The theft occurred between 5pm on Monday 27 October and just before 9am on Thursday 30 October when the woman noticed her black disability scooter was missing.
