- Dog stolen: Kingscombe, Devon
Police are appealing for information after the theft of a pet dog from a garden in Gurney Slade.
The incident occurred between 6pm on Tuesday 18th November 2008 and 8.30am the next day.
The dog, a black and white collie called 'Dart', was locked in her kennel in the garden of the premises situated in Kingscombe.
The padlock on the kennel had been forced open and it appears bolt-cutters were used.
- Theft of lurcher: Church Road, Little Berkhampstead
Hertfordshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information after a beige lurcher dog was stolen from outside a shop in Little Berkhampstead village on Monday November 17.
It happened at about 1.15pm on Church Road in the village, near Hertford.
The dog's owner, a 21-year-old woman from Hatfield, left the 8-month-old dog tied up outside the village shop.
But, when she returned, the dog had gone.

- Reward offered to find driver who killed dog: Askam-in-Furness, Staffs
The owner of a staffordshire terrier which was killed in a hit and run in Askam-in-Furness last week has spoken out in a bid to find the driver.
Michelle Irving, 35, from Askam, was walking her dog, Lucy, along Duke Street just after midnight on Wednesday 19, November when it was hit by a grey/silver vehicle which failed to stop.
Despite urgent veterinary treatment sadly the four-year-old dog did not survive the collision and Police are appealing for the public's help to try and trace the offender.
- Reward offered as labrador puppy stolen: Appleton
The owners of a puppy stolen in a burglary are making an appeal for her to be returned. A reward of unspecified value has been offered. Muffin was stolen after a property was burgled in Appleton.
Between 1.45pm and 4.30pm burglars broke into a house in Eaton Road, Appleton and stole, a Hitachi flat screen television and some jewellery, including a Cartier tank watch, emerald cluster ring, a pearl necklace and some Trifari black and gold costume jewellery, as well as the puppy.

- Puppies stolen: Chipping Sodbury
Police have issued an appeal for the public's help to trace a litter of stolen puppies, taken from the Chipping Sodbury area.
The Cocker Spaniel puppies - all 10 weeks old - were taken from Winchcombe Farm, Little Sodbury End sometime between 7-8pm on Thursday November 6.
Taken during the incident were: two brown dogs, a black dog, grey dog and a black bitch.
The mother of the pups remains with the owner who fears the puppies may be at some time, offered for sale.
- Theft of Jack Russell dog: Kirton
Police are appealing for sightings of suspicious activity or vehicles in the Seadyke Road area of Kirton following the theft of a dog between 6.50am and 11.30am on Tuesday 21 October 2008.
The white and tan Jack Russell cross, named Dexter, was stolen from a secured dog pen in the garden of a property in Seadyke Road.
Police are appealing to people living in or passing through the area who saw suspicious individuals or vehicles to come forward.
- Dachshund pups stolen: Severn Road, Ipswich
Severn Road, Ipswich between 12pm Tuesday 21.10.08 and 8pm Wednesday 22.10.08 a secure rear garden was entered and two dogs stolen from a pen. The dogs are described as two brown, four-month-old pedigree Dachshund dogs valued at about £1500 each.

- Stolen cocker spaniel puppy: Crackenthorpe (£300.00 Reward)
A family which has been left devastated after their puppy was stolen is offering a £300 reward for its safe return.
Ollie, a 13-week-old blue roan cocker spaniel, was stolen from his kennel in the back garden of the home of the Hall family in Crackenthorpe, near Appleby, overnight on Sunday (August 17).
Dougi Hall said the family was "very upset" about the loss of the puppy which they had only bought two weeks previously.
- Animal home, dog stolen: Bury
Police in Bury are appealing for help to trace a dog stolen from an animal home.
At about 4.45pm, on Monday 18 August 2008, someone entered the pens at Bleakholt animal sanctuary, Bury Old Road, Shuttleworth, slipped a lead round the dogs neck, and walked out with her.
- Dog Stolen: St Albans
Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a burglary in St Albans on Sunday, June 6.
The incident occurred at around 12.30am in Marshall Avenue when an offender or offenders entered the rear garden of a property and stole a dog. The dog, Alfie, is a two year and 4 month old Lurcher who is brown and ginger and has a white chest and underbelly. The offender(s) then left the property with Alfie in an unknown direction.
- Chihuahua Stolen: Hilsea
A teenager has been left devastated after thieves broke into a house and stole her pet Chihuahua worth thousands of pounds.
Chloe Farrant, 17, had left Charlie for an hour when she went to the park and came back to find him gone. The thief had forced open a kitchen window and took the eight-week-old dog which is valued at £3,000 – but nothing else.
She had left Charlie at her cousin's house in Farmside Gardens, Hilsea, at about 4pm on Friday. She returned an hour later but he had gone.
- Theft of Cocker Spaniel: Chiddingfold, Surrey
Police are appealing for witnesses after a black and white Cocker Spaniel was stolen from a farm in Chiddingfold on May 26.
Two men called at the farm in the morning before returning at 4pm later that day and stealing the Spaniel, a black and white bitch called Elsa, from a kennel.
- Labrador Puppy Stolen: Yaxley, Peterborough
Nine month old Golden labrador Sedge was taken between 5.30pm on Saturday (May 17) and 8am Sunday (May 18). Sedge is a fully trained gun dog and was kept in a padlocked kennel. It's thought it would have taken more than one offender to lift her out.
PC Paul Carter, investigating, said: "If you remember seeing anyone behaving suspiciously in the area between these times please get in touch. I would also like to hear from anyone who thinks they may have seen this dog in the area at the time or since the theft."
- Jack Russells stolen from Glazebrook (£250.00 Reward)
Reward offered for the return of a mother and her puppy stolen from a farm near Wigan.
Two miniature tricolour (black, white and brown) Jack Russell puppies and their mum were stolen from the farm in Glazebrook last Saturday by two men driving a blue transit van. One of the terrified 12-month-old puppies, called Billy, was found several days later outside a Residential Care Home, on Grizedale Drive in Ince. The dogs owner, Chris Hamer, believes the other dogs could be in the Wigan area.
- Missing Lhasa Apso called Daisy
Daisy went missing from North Walsham Road, Norwich on 2nd March and was possibly sighted on 3rd March in Catton Park.
Very friendly dog. No collar or ID on her.
