- Chickens and trees stolen: Kidderminster
Police are appealing for witnesses about the theft of six chickens from a garden in Kidderminster.
The six yellow bantam chickens, worth £100, were taken from two pens in the rear garden of a house in Shrewsbury Road between 5am and 6am yesterday, Wednesday 22nd October.
Also stolen were five young conifer trees in plastic pots, worth a total of £10.
- Theft of Chickens: Gedney, Spalding
Police are appealing for information after the theft of seven chickens from a shed in Gedney. This incident took place between 8pm on Saturday July 5 and 7.30am on Sunday July 6. The offender(s) climbed over a back wall of the property and entered an unlocked shed, stole the seven chickens and left the same way.
There were: two lavender coloured Pekin Bantam chickens, one beige chicken, two black and white chickens and one auburn chicken.

- Buff Orpington Chicks Stolen
Thieves have stolen three Buff Orpington chicks from a farm in Whatcote along with other assorted items.
The chicks (two hens and a cockrel) were taken between 12.00hrs and 17.40hrs yesterday, Monday June 2.
Also taken were a green and white plastic, mushroom shaped water feeder; a green and white plastic feeder; a pair of black, size 8 Aigle wellington boots; a pair of blue, size 8 Outdoor Scene walking boots; and a blue plastic box containing a first aid kit and horse bandages.
- Burglary/Theft of Chickens: Yarburgh, Nr Louth
Police are appealing for any information regarding the theft of fifty show chickens from a farm in Yarburgh, near Louth between 10.30pm on Tuesday 20 May 2008 and 6.30am the following morning.
The chickens, all pure bred black, buff (light brown) and blue (grey) Orpingtons, were in six pens when they were stolen by unknown means. The birds are all home bred and are valued at around £2,500.
- Rare chicken breeds stolen: Steep Marsh, Hampshire (£500.00 Reward)
A reward is being offered for information regarding the theft of more than a hundred rare chickens from a farm near Steep Marsh.
Rustlers raided the farm on Thursday night last week and took valuable breeding birds worth more than £1,000 in total. Farmers David and Claire Neal say they have spent so many years with the chickens and some breeds are so uncommon that they will easily be able to identify many of the missing birds.
- 400 chickens stolen from farm near Sherborne, Dorset
Police in Sherborne are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward in confidence after 400 chickens were stolen overnight from a farm at Nether Compton.
The theft at the Ratleigh Wood poultry unit - near Stallen Farm - was reported to Dorset Police by a 46 year old man on a mobile phone at 10.08am on Tuesday, 22 April, 2008.
The 400 stolen chickens are believed to be worth some £1,600 and were taken from cages in a barn overnight.
- Chickens stolen from Monchelsea
Police are calling for witnesses to come forward after around 460 chickens, worth £1,700 were stolen from a farm in Boughton, Monchelsea at some point between 31 December and 1 January 2008.
It's believed burglars gained access to the birds by cutting a hole in two of the wire fence panels near to the farms outbuildings. A white Ford transit van was seen in the area at the time. Do you have any information?

- Theft of Eight Japanese Shamos Cockerels
Police are appealing for information after eight cockerels were stolen from allotments off Redhill Drive, Airedale in Castleford, Wakefield.
The Japanese Shamos which were kept in secured sheds, were taken between 6pm on Sunday, February 3 and 7pm on Monday, February 4.
