Police are appealing for witnesses who can help identify the thieves who stole a motability scooter belonging to an 89 year old woman from Frederick Press Way in Rugby.
The theft occurred between 5pm on Monday 27 October and just before 9am on Thursday 30 October when the woman noticed her black disability scooter was missing.
The scooter was found abandoned at 9am on Thursday 30 October next to a metal barrier leading to a cut through from Vicarage Road to Bilton Road. The thieves had damaged the seat by attempting to set fire to it.
