Paraglider stolen in burglary: Oldham

Burglars turned over a house in Oldham, stealing several household items, including a paraglider.

The burglary took place some place between 1pm and 7pm on Wednesday 12 November 2008.

The offenders managed to get into the house by sneaking through to the back garden, and smashing open the back door.

The living room, kitchen and bedrooms were then ransacked.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen a paraglider being used in the area, or trying to be sold, to come forward. It is red and white and contained in a blue rucksack.

Those with information should call police on 0161 872 5050, or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
