A large quantity of power tools - worth well in excess of £3000 - were stolen during a break in at Brechin High School in the early hours of Friday morning (October 17).
The raid happened sometime between 3.20am and just after 4am at the technology wing of the school, which is currently undergoing renovation. The wing is on the eastern side of the building.
Two men were seen acting suspiciously near to the school and heading towards Banks of Brechin during the material times. One was about six feet tall and wore a grey or dark-coloured hooded top and white trainers; the other was about five feet nine inches tall and wore a dark hooded top.
More than a dozen power tools of various types and designs were taken.
