Racing car and bikes stolen: Bristol

Police are appealing for the public's help following the theft of mountain bikes and a racing car, together valued at around £18,000.

The bikes and car were amongst a number of items taken from a unit at the Netham Park industrial estate in Bristol between December 21-24. A shutter door at the premises was forced and a range of tools, cash and lap top computer taken. Also two distinctive Schwinn mountain bikes were taken, each worth around £1500.

One was a Schwinn MOAB – a black and white frame with white lettering on the main tubes. Additionally a white and blue Mitsubishi Evo 6 racing car, worth £15,000 was taken. The car has been set up purely as a racing car and is not suitable for road use in this state. The car has a distinctive look but due to its use does not display a number plate.

Bristol burglary team are keen to hear from anyone who may have information relating to the stolen items.
