The owners of a puppy stolen in a burglary are making an appeal for her to be returned. A reward of unspecified value has been offered. Muffin was stolen after a property was burgled in Appleton.
Between 1.45pm and 4.30pm burglars broke into a house in Eaton Road, Appleton and stole, a Hitachi flat screen television and some jewellery, including a Cartier tank watch, emerald cluster ring, a pearl necklace and some Trifari black and gold costume jewellery, as well as the puppy.
The owner said:
"Muffin is a 15-week-old Labrador puppy; she is a dark yellow colour and has a distinctive mark on the top of her neck.
"We have had some other items stolen in the burglary which are of great sentimental value but Muffin is our main concern, and we are offering a reward for her safe return.
"The whole family, including my four grandchildren desperately miss her and would like her back."
