Reward for stole Hitachi ZX200: similar excavator NOT the vehicle stolen Reward for stole Hitachi ZX200: similar excavator NOT the vehicle stolen

This is a re-issued appeal coupled with a reward of £1,500 for information about a 20 tonne excavator which was stolen from a site on the Kiln Road around 8.30pm on Monday, September 1.

The 2001 Hitachi ZX200 excavator with rock hammer attachment was recorded by CCTV being loaded onto a three axle low loader trailer pulled by a yellow/orange coloured Scania lorry.

The lorry, possibly a Scania 124 model, had beacons fitted to the roof of the cab and spot lights. It also had distinctive yellow rear wheel guards.

The low loader trailer was possibly a blue MAC type trailer with flashing beacons fitted to the rear ramps.

After the £50,000 digger was loaded onto the trailer the vehicle made its way down the Silverwood Road towards Aghacommon, Lurgan.

It then went on toward the Can roundabout, Portadown and onto the M12 before making its way onto the M1 possibly heading to Dungannon around 8.45pm.

Information about the theft of the vehicle can be passed onto Conwell Contracts in Brookeborough, County Fermanagh.

The image is for illustrative purposes only: it is of a similar excavator NOT the vehicle stolen.
