Merseyside Police is appealing for people to come forward following the theft of a car from outside Walton Prison on Wednesday, 13 November, 2008.
Between 2.45pm and 4.30pm on 13 November a silver Ford Fiesta (registration AK58 JGU) was stolen from outside the prison on Hornby Road.
It is believed that the thieves may have put the car on to a low loader at the scene and and transported it away.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything, or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously around the time of the incident, to contact Lower lane CID on 0151 777 4566, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
