- Appeal to trace watch owner: Southwark
Southwark police are trying to trace the owner of a watch recovered during an investigation.
The watch is a Cartier gentleman's in stainless steel, with a stainless steel bracelet. The movement is automatic. The watch has been inscribed on the rear with a message.

- Pearl and diamond ring found: B&Q car park, Cheltenham
Police are trying to locate the owner of a piece of jewellery that was found in the B and Q car park in Cheltenham.
The pearl and diamond ring was found around a month ago and was handed in to Fairford Police station.
If the description of the ring matches one you have lost recently then please contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 0845 090 1234.
- Yorkshire terrier found safe and well: Dancey Road, Cheltenham
Churchdown Police are appealing for the owners of a lost Yorkshire Terrier to contact the Cheltenham Animal Shelter.
The dog was found in Dancey Road yesterday, Thursday December 18, and taken to the Police station by a local resident.
It has since been taken to the Cheltenham Animal Shelter to be looked after until its owners come forward.
Gloucestershire Police would like to take this opportunity to remind residents that reports of stray or lost dogs should be directed to the district council.

It was found in the middle of the road on Faulkeners Way, Trimley by police on Sunday 21 December.
Felixstowe Neighbourhood Inspector Steve Gallant said:
"I find it hard to believe that this individual has strayed away from home on his own - he looks very lost and forlorn in our front office but I am worried that the staff are starting to get a bit attached to him - one officer even offered to take him out on patrol.
- Appeal for owners of stolen property: North Yorkshire Police
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information to help return a number of stolen items which were recently recovered from a property in York.
The items, which include brass swans, a brass canister and a blue hard back book, all have distinctive marks and knocks which could be used to help identify them.
A 21 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of theft and for possession of cannabis. He has been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
- Police seek owner of Christmas presents: Dewsbury
Police are appealing for help in identifying the owner of two Christmas presents which were discovered on the 9th December 2008 in a black plastic bag within a communal area on School Avenue in Dewsbury Moor.
The items were found by a member of the public and had Christmas cards attached. The cards were addressed from 'Dad and Niki'.

- Drugs recovered: Aberdeen City Centre
On Friday 19 December 2008, Grampian Police recovered Class 'A' drugs with a potential street value of £7000 from a vehicle within Aberdeen City Centre.
Two local men aged 27 and 20 were arrested in connection with the recovery and a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
A Police spokesman said "Information from members of the public was crucial in this recovery.
- Designer watch, owner sought: Lincoln
Police are hoping to reunite a watch with its owner following its recovery from a property in the City.
It is a genuine designer watch which has not been reported as missing but was seized by Police it is believed to have been stolen. It is a gents silver watch with a silver link strap and a square face. If you have lost a watch matching the description, or perhaps you have such a watch that you have not seen for a while, it might be worth checking it is where you think it is.
- Gentlemans ring found: Ellon
A gents ring has been found and handed into the Police Office at Ellon. It is described as a gold wedding ring with with the initials K.I.M. and J.M.B. with a date of 18-10-80 inscribed on the inside.
Despite enquiries locally, the owner of the ring has not been found and Grampian Police is keen to re-unite the owner with their property.
The owner, or anyone who may know the identity of the owner, is asked to contact Grampian Police on 0845 600 5 700
- Property recovered during Operation Storyboard: Thurmaston
The police are trying to trace the owner of a number of items of property which they believe may have been taken during a distraction burglary.
The property, which consists of old and foreign bank notes and coins, war medals and watches, was found in a black Volkswagen Golf in Thurmaston on Sunday 30th November 2008. Enquiries revealed that the car had been stolen from Manchester on Monday 17th November.
- Owners of recovered property urged to come forward: Leicester
Officers at Oadby and Wigston local policing unit need help in identifying the owners of property recovered by police.
It includes some very distinctive Asian jewellery which would be easily identified by its rightful owners.
Among the unique pieces of jewellery is a chain that has the words ‘Sister' on it and another chain with the words ‘Nicky' on it.

- Fuji camera found: Martlesham
Have you lost a Fuji camera? The camera was handed into Hadleigh Police Station after being found in Martlesham and contains images of a couple on a walking holiday with children, possibly their grandchildren.

- Police seek owner of silver cutlery set: Forest Heath
Police are trying to locate the owners of a silver cutlery set which has been recovered by officers. It is made by Paul Wirth and was found in a suitcase.
Anyone who thinks the set is theirs should contact PC Neil Brown at Mildenhall Police on , you will be asked questions to verify that you are the owner.
- High value plant recovered from Poland
Two people have been arrested and prosecuted Kent Police's Serious and Organised Crime Unit has recovered more than £200,000 worth of tractors and plant vehicles in Poland following an investigation into theft of high value farming machinery.
Earlier this year Polish authorities carried out a number of warrants in Ulca Witosa W, approximately 3.5 miles north of Radom in Poland, on behalf of Kent Police's Serious and Organised Crime Unit which has led to the recovery of seven stolen vehicles.
- Mountain bike recovered: Owner sought, Plymouth
There have been a number of Pedal cycle thefts in the Mount Gould St Judes and Central areas of Plymouth.
Police currently have a Mountain Bike they suspect is Stolen and would like to Identify the owner.
