- Knife-point robbery on train: South East London
British Transport Police have released CCTV as part of an ongoing investigation into a knifepoint robbery on a train in south-east London.
BTP Robbery Squad PC Dan Rolfe said the incident happened on a train travelling from Crofton Park Railway Station to Catford Railway Station on November 24.
"It would appear the 39-year-old male victim was approached by two black men at around 10.30pm.
- Man stabbed in serious assault: Georges Quay, Dublin
Gardai at Pearse Street are investigating a serious assault which occured at Georges Quay/Tara St junction, near the entrance to Tara Street Dart Station, at about 11.50am this morning on the 30th December, 2008.
The injured man aged 25 years received a number of stab wounds to the upper body and is currently in St James Hospital. His injuries are not life threatening.
- Teenager stabbed in attempted street robbery: Healdswood Street, Skegby
An 18 year old man is currently being treated in hospital after being stabbed during an attempted robbery in Skegby.
The incident happened at approximately 6pm on Saturday 20 December 2008 at the junction of Healdswood Street and Mansfield Road, Skegby.
The offender approached the 18-year-old victim and a struggle ensued, during which the victim was stabbed.
He is currently receiving treatment in hospital for his injuries, which are described as non-life threatening.
- Teenager stabbed in back: Woodside View, Poleglass
Police are appealing for information after a teenager was stabbed in the Poleglass area during the early hours of Saturday 20 December.
It is understood the 17 year old was attacked by a number of other males in the Woodside View area shortly before 2.30am.
He sustained a single stab wound to the back . The victim has been taken to hospital however his injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
- Restaurant knife attack leaves two critical: Market Place, Middleton
Two men are in a critical condition in hospital after a stabbing in a restaurant in Middleton.
At about 1.30am on Thursday 25 December 2008, the victims were in the Akash restaurant on Market Place.
Two men who they had earlier had an altercation with at a nearby pub, came inside the restaurant and approached their table armed with knives.
- Stabbed man found in road: Rodwell Road, Weymouth
Detectives in Weymouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward in confidence after a man was allegedly stabbed in the Rodwell area of the town during the early hours of this morning, Thursday, 18 December 2008.
The 40-year old Weymouth man was found with stab wounds outside a terraced house in Rodwell Road and the alarm was raised by a member of the public who called Dorset Police at 3.58am this morning, Thursday.
- Young teenager stabbed in stomach: nr Bridge Hotel, Stramongate
Police in Kendal are investigating after a 15-year-old local boy received a stab injury to the stomach after a fight in the town last night.
The incident was reported to police at 4:53pm on Thursday 11 December, and occurred near the Bridge Hotel on Stramongate.
The knife was recovered and a 15-year-old Kendal boy was arrested - he remains in custody this morning. The incident was not a stranger attack.
The victim was taken to RLI hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries where he remains in a stable condition today.
- Two men seen fleeing after woman stabbed: Kestrel View, Littlemoor
At about 5.30pm on Wednesday 10 December 2008 police officers were called to Kestrel View in the Littlemoor area of Weymouth where a woman had been stabbed by two men who had made off.
A 32 year old Weymouth woman was taken to Dorset County Hospital with serious injuries.
Detective Inspector Marcus Hester of Weymouth CID, said:
"I'd like to hear from anyone who saw two men in the vicinity of number 57 Kestrel View at around 5.30pm yesterday 10 December.
- Man stabbed in disturbance at brewery: Lancaster Road, Dunston
At 11.22pm on Tuesday police received reports that a 39-year-old man had been stabbed during a disturbance at the Federation Brewery on Lancaster Road, Dunston, Gateshead.
The victim, from Newcastle, suffered back and stomach injuries and was taken to Newcastle's Freeman Hospital. His condition is being described as serious but stable.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.

- Man stabbed: St Anthonys Road, Newcastle
Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in Newcastle.
Police were called to St Anthonys Road, just after 4.30pm, on Saturday, December 6, following reports a 23-year-old man had been stabbed.
The victim suffered a stomach wound and was taken to Newcastle General Hospital for treatment where he remains. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Police have arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of wounding who is currently being interviewed.
- Pub fight stabbing: Burnage Lane, Burnage
Sometime between 9pm on Saturday 6 December 2008 and 1.30am on Sunday 7 December 2008, a fight broke out at the Farmers Arms on Burnage Lane, Burnage.
During the melee, the victim suffered a stab wound to his head and two stab wounds to his chest. He was treated in hospital for his injuries but later discharged. He is now recovering at home.
Police are now appealing to anyone who witnessed the fight to come forward.

- Woman stabbed in face: Ashley Road, Boscombe
Detectives in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses and information after a woman received serious facial injuries during an altercation in the town - with four people, including the injured woman, being arrested.
The incident, in which a 38-year-old Boscombe woman sustained two stab wounds to the face on Ashley Road in Boscombe, happened at around 7.40pm on Tuesday, 2 December 2008.
- Witness Sought After Man Stabbed: Ronaldshay Terrace, Marske
Witness Sought After Man Stabbed In Marske
Police are seeking witnesses to an incident in which a 26 year old man received a serious stab wound to his abdomen.
It took place in the early hours of Monday (1st December 2008) in Ronaldshay Terrace in Marske.
A 16 year old youth was arrested in connection with the incident and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
The victim is currently in James Cook University Hospital in a stable condition.
- Young girl stabbed in neck: Tanterton Hall Road, Ingol, Preston
POLICE in Preston are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a 17-year-old girl suffered stab wounds in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, November 29).
The incident happened shortly before 3am in Tanterton Hall Road, Ingol, Preston.
The young victim suffered a stab injury to her neck and was taken to Royal Preston Hospital.
She is currently being transferred to Blackpool Hospital with what is believed to be a collapsed lung. Her condition is described as poorly.
- Stabbing outside house party: Sandringham Road
Detectives in Portsmouth are appealing for a possible witness to come forward after a man was stabbed in Sandringham Road.
At around 4.45am on Saturday, September 13, three men went to a house trying to get into a party.
An altercation broke out and several people were in the road outside of the house.
During the altercation a 37-year-old man from Fareham received three stab wounds, and was taken to Queen Alexandra hospital for treatment.
