Police are appealing for information after a tractor worth £42,000 was stolen from an agricultural dealership in Newbridge.
The theft took place sometime between 6pm on Friday (May 23), and 8am on Saturday. In addition to the tractor, a baler worth £17,000 was also stolen from the Sellars Agriculture site at Harvest Road.
The tractor, which is manufactured by Claas, is an Arion 630 Cebis, and is coloured green and white, with orange writing, and orange wheel hubs.
The baler, which is also made by Claas, is a Model 355RC, and is again green and white, with orange writing and orange wheel hubs.
A police spokesman said "This was a high value theft and we are hoping that someone may have seen these vehicles being taken from the site over the weekend.
"Anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area of Harvest Road, or has any other information to help us track down those responsible, should contact police immediately."
Anyone with any information can contact Lothian and Borders Police on 0131 311 3131, or Crimestoppers in confidence and complete anonymity on 0800 555 111
