Police are appealing for witnesses after a black and white Cocker Spaniel was stolen from a farm in Chiddingfold on May 26.

Two men called at the farm in the morning before returning at 4pm later that day and stealing the Spaniel, a black and white bitch called Elsa, from a kennel.

One of the thieves is described as white, in his early 20s, 5ft 10 to 5ft 11 tall, with mousey brown hair and a stubbly beard. He was wearing a light blue, woollen golfing style jumper with a black and white pattern across the chest, and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a white male, in his early 20s, and of a slight build, with black hair which was short on top and long at the back. He had large ears and was described as being shorter than the other suspect. He was wearing a blue, long-sleeved top and jeans.

The thieves are believed to have driven to the farm on their second visit in a green Subaru Legacy estate with an index number starting with the letter ā€œGā€.

Anyone with any information on either of the suspects, the vehicle, or the whereabouts of the stolen dog, is asked to contact Detective Constable Matt Evans at Farnham police station on 0845 125 2222, or, if you prefer to remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
