All Missing Persons on the Missing List

A renewed appeal has been made for information about the whereabouts of a County Tyrone man a year after he disappeared.

Gerard Conway was last seen in the Cookstown area at the end of January last year. Despite extensive enquiries on both sides of the border, no clues as to his whereabouts have been discovered.

Today (Monday January 28 2008) members of his family renewed their offer of a £100,000 reward for information about their son.

Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of Simon Marland, aged 26 years who lives in Chippenham.

Simon was last seen at approximately 8:30 am Wednesday 8th October 2008 at his parent's home in Chippenham and it is out of character for Simon to be away over night.

There are serious concerns for his welfare as he has health difficulties and is regarded as vulnerable.

Police searching for a 14-year-old boy from Carlisle who has been missing for more than a week believe he may have travelled to the Blackpool area.

Ryan Greensmith, nicknamed Greenhead, of Kingmoor Road, Carlisle was reported missing from home by his mother at around 4pm on Monday 29th September. He is believed to be staying with friends however has made no contact with his family or police for a number of days.

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a pensioner who has gone missing.

Lucy Edwards, 75, was last seen at her home in Swinton Court, Park Street, Salford, at around 8am on Friday 10 October 2008.

She has been missing before and suffers from depression.

Lucy is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall, of thin build and with white medium length hair. She was wearing a black coat, dark trousers and was carrying a plastic bag.

Police are appealing for help in tracing a man who has gone missing from South London.

Samuel Gill, 34 years old, has been missing from his home in Croydon since 28 September 2008. There is growing concern for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Since he went missing, there have been believed sightings of him in the Brighton, London Bridge and Woolwich areas, but he has not made contact with family or friends.

Samuel is 6'2" tall, medium build, with brown eyes and black hair worn in a ponytail. He wears spectacles.

Staffordshire Police are appealing for the public to report any sightings of a missing 62-year old man.

James Davenport was last seen in the London Road area of Newcastle around 10pm on September 19.

He is described as white, 5ft 9in tall with a medium build and grey, collar length hair. He has a beard, blue eyes and a pale complexion.

He was wearing a pair of blue faded jeans, brown loafer-style shoes, a grey t-shirt and a black leather jacket.

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said:

We are concerned for the welfare of Kerdisha Preddie, a 14 year-old girl who is missing from her home in Ballards Lane, Finchley.

Kerdisha was last seen at 08:00 on Thursday 25/9/08. She did not attend school that day.

She is described as black, approx 5 feet 6 inches tall. When last seen she was wearing a cream jacket with blue jeans and was carrying a pink rucksack.

Kerdisha may be in the North London area (Barnet, Brent, Harlesden, Wood Green) or possibly in the Brixton or Clapham Common areas of South London.

Gardaí at Castlebar are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 17 year old Niamh O' Malley from Liseniska, Belcarra, Co. Mayo.

Niamh was last seen at 5pm on 10th September 2008 at Ellisin Street, Castlebar, Co. Mayo.

She is described as being 5'3'' in height with an average build and raven dark hair.

When last seen she was wearing a grey school uniform, blue jumper, black tights, black boots and a white 'hoodie' top.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the safety and welfare of a mother and her child.

Florence Akoshile, dob 12/9/71 - 36 yrs, and Tyrone Smith, dob 16/3/2000 - 8 yrs, were last seen at 08:45 on Tues 9/9/08 when they left a friend's home in Stonebridge Rd, N15.

Florence is described as black, slim, 5ft 6ins - 5ft 7ins and has her head shaved, although she usually wears a wig or headscarf.

Tyrone is light-skinned black, slim and about 4ft 1ins.

It is not know where they may be.

Gardaí at Drogheda are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 36 year old Colm O Doherty of Cherrybrook Drive, Drogheda, Co. Louth.

Colm failed to return home last Friday, 29th August 2008, after attending a hospital appointment in Dublin.

He is described as being 6ft tall, very broad and heavily built and has a black beard and moustache.

Colm has a number of tattoo's, the most distinctive of which is a 'Celtic' tattoo on his neck.

Police in Cumbria are concerned for the welfare of Mr John Anthony Clark, 50-yrs-old, who was last seen at the Lodore Falls Hotel in Keswick on Saturday 26 th July. Mr Clark is described as white, slim build, approximately 5'10", with mousey-coloured receding hair.

Officers are asking Mr Clark, or anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts, to contact them as soon as possible to confirm he is safe and well.

Grampian Police are concerned for Laura Baird, 30 years, who has been reported missing from her home address at Loriston Road, Cove, Aberdeen. Laura was last seen at her home address around 9am on Tuesday 12th August 2008.

She is described as being approximately 5'7'' in height, of slim build, with long dyed blond hair and brown eyes.

Police are appealing for Laura to contact them or alternatively any of her friends or associates to confirm that she is safe and well.

Suffolk Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 54 year old man from Newmarket who has been missing since Monday 16th June.

Alistair Chivers, known as Des was last seen at 2.15pm that day when he left his local pub, the Five Bells. He has not been heard from since. It is completely out of character for Des to go missing in this way.

Police in Stoke-on-Trent are appealing for help in tracing a missing 34-year-old woman. Christine Higgins was reported missing after leaving her accommodation on Wednesday 30th July.

DC Gary Jackson from Stoke-on-Trent CID said "We are growing very concerned for Christine; she doesn't appear to have contacted any of her friends since she went missing, and this isn't her normal behaviour." 

Police are growing increasingly concerned about a 12-year-old girl who has been missing since Sunday 10th August. Holly Castor was last seen at 2pm at her home address in Short Street, Burton. She told her mother she was going into Burton town centre.

Holly has been described as 5' 3" tall and of mixed race.
